BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team will head north to face the University of Chicago in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Soccer Championship this Saturday, Nov. 12. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. CST. The Panthers received a bid after winning the SAA Conference Tournament and finishing with records of 8-5-5 overall and 2-4-1 in conference.
 
The Panthers will face the top-ranked University of Chicago who won the outright University Athletic Association title. Chicago finished with an overall record of 16-0-1 and a conference record of 6-0-1. This will be the first match between the teams.
