HANOVER, Ind. - The Panthers carried over their momentum from the season opening win, scoring 19 goals and wrapping up their road trip a perfect 2-0.
The Birmingham-Southern offense was clicking early as they scored the games first six goals, to take a dominate 6-0 lead.
Marissa Henderson recorded a hat trick just a couple minutes into the second quarter. Hanover got on the board with 5:35 left in the second quarter. The Panthers scored once more before halftime and took a 7-1 lead into the break.
The Panthers kept their foot on the gas scoring 12 goals in the second half. Two Panthers completed their hat tricks in the second half as
Brooklyn Hilliard and
Kathleen Napier combined for seven of the teams 12 second half goals.
Jamie O'Meila got the start in goal for BSC and recorded five saves allowing just three goals in the contest.
