Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

PANTHERS BEAT IN-STATE RIVAL

Montgomery, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team took on in-state rival Huntingdon College ending their road streak with a win. After winning the last two games on the road, the Panthers topped it off beating the Hawks 16-4. 
 
BSC started the game off putting up seven points in the first quarter and holding Huntingdon to zero points. Southern kept that momentum going into the second quarter scoring another five goals. They led the game at halftime with a score of 12-3. The Panthers came into the third quarter scoring three more goals to add to their lead. BSC finished it off in the fourth quarter scoring one goal and not letting Huntingdon score in the quarter.
 
Carter McAlpin led the Panthers in goals putting up three total. McAlpin added on two ground balls and one assist. Austin Johnson recorded two goals, three assist, and one ground ball. Tyson Myree picked up nine ground balls for the Panthers. Caleb Duke picked up the win for the game with four saves.
