Indianapolis, Ind. – Jakob Icimsoy and Avery Balch took on Day 1 of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship. 
 
Icimsoy competed in the 500 Free recording a time of 4:30.73. This would go on to be a season best for Jakob. His performance moved him up 16 spots to become an alternate in the championship final.
 
Avery Balch took 11th place in the 3-Meter dive. He recorded a final score of 454.45. 
 
Jakob will compete in the 200-Free Thursday, March 17. Avery will compete in the 1-Meter dive on Friday, March 18.
