PANTHERS DOMINATE IN LAST NONCONFERENCE GAME

Birmingham, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team returned home looking to bounce back and begin another win streak. The Panthers took on the Firebirds of Carthage College. BSC was led by Austin Johnson leading the team in most goals for the game.
 
The Panthers started of hot scoring the first three goals of the game in the first quarter. Carthage came into the second quarter scoring the first point, but BSC answered back with four goals of their own. Going into halftime BSC led 8-3. 
 
Southern brought the first half momentum into the third quarter by scoring a total of eight goals. Kyle Winter, Raymond Fracchia, and Austin Johnson contributed two goals each in this quarter. The Panthers would go on to add six more goals in the fourth quarter and take the game with a final score of 22-9. 
 
Austin Johnson would go on to lead the Panthers in goals recording a total of five. Johnson added on five groundballs and two assist. Cameron Herb picked up a total of four of the Panthers 22 goals. Carter McAlpin recorded four assists for the Panthers and added on two goals and groundballs. Luke Fajack picked up the win for the game with a total of six saves.

> This is the Panthers fifth game scoring over 15 points this season.
> The second half is BSC's highest scoring second half this season.
