JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern men's golf team opened up their spring season with a T25 finish at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational.
The Panthers opened up the first round shooting a 311 (+32). Leading the way was
Price Bryan who shot a team low 77 (+5) in the round.
Sammy Brucker,
Jackson Bowman, and
John Daniels each shot a 78 (+6) in the opening round. After the first day BSC sat in 27th place.
In round two the Panthers shot 12 strokes better than the previous day.
Sammy Brucker shot a team-low 71 (-1) to improve his score to +5 for the tournament.
Jackson Bowman shot a 73 (+1) which was his low for the weekend. Shaving 12 strokes bumped BSC up to T25 for the weekend.
