BSC WRAPS UP REGULAR SEASON WITH STRONG PERFORMANCE

ROME, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern women's track and field team wrapped up the regular season with their best finish of the season. The Panthers finished eighth of 18 teams and placed highly in many events. 

BSC opened up the event on Friday. In the women's javelin throw the Panthers had two athletes finish in the top five. Mallie Taylor recorded a throw of 32.35 meters while Alicia Willis recorded a throw of 30.36 meters.

Freshmen Jailah Loving had an outstanding meet finishing fourth in the 200-meter dash, winning the 100 meter hurdles with a new personal record time of 15.35 seconds, and another top five finish in the women's 100 meter dash. 

Jannah Moede placed seventh in the 400-meter dash for the Panthers adding to their point total.

Birmingham-Southern will have next weekend off before competing in in the SAA Championships starting on Friday, April 29.
