Conway, Ark. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team hit the road to take on the Warriors of Hendrix College after a three-game home streak. Last time the Panthers were on the road they fell to Ithaca College. BSC came into today's game looking to bounce back and that is exactly what did beating Hendrix 27-15.
Austin Johnson started it off for the Panthers scoring the first goal of the game.
Will Johns,
Ethan Richardson, and
Carson Kinnett would go on to score for BSC in the first quarter. Southern had a big second quarter scoring 10 goals being led by
Cameron Herd,
Carter McAlpin, and
Robert Marquet scoring a total of eight combined. The Panthers led going into halftime 14-3.
Robert Marquet started the second half off scoring the first goal in the third quarter. Hendrix tried to make a comeback scoring six goals, but BSC scored seven more of their own in the third quarter. The Panthers would go on to score six more goals in the fourth quarter to win the game with a score of 27-15.
Carter McAlpin was the Panthers leading scorer picking up five goals. McAlpin recorded seven assists also leading the Panthers in this category.

Robert Marquet would go on to pick up a hat trick.
Luke Fajack picked up nine saves giving him the win for the game.
