BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern softball team beat the Millsaps Majors a close 2-0 to advance to the BSC Pod Final of the SAA Conference Tournament. Hailee Bryan pitched all 7 innings, only allowing one hit for the Majors.  

Bryan saw a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the second with a strikeout to end it. She saw another in the top of the third, striking out the first batter faced. The bottom of the third saw the first run for the Panthers. Morgan McGuire singled to shortstop to score Kaylyn Chapman to make it 1-0. A 1-2-3 inning in the top of the fourth pushed the Panthers forward. Birmingham-Southern did not see another run until the bottom of the sixth when Leah Wood doubled to left center to score Jada Askew. The Panthers held off the Colonels in the top of the seventh to secure their win 2-0.
