BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After a challenging meet at Emory a week ago Birmingham-Southern responded in the right way competing and showing well at a local meet hosted by UAB.
Alicia Willis placed ninth in the women's hammer throw to kick the meet off.
Mallie Taylor followed that up with a seventh place finish in the javelin throw. The two kickstarted a great meet for the Panthers.
BSC carried the Friday momentum into Saturday.
Jailah Loving started Saturday off by finishing sixth in the 100-meter hurdles, following her
Kamryn Bendolph gained a point for BSC by finishing eighth in the 400-meter dash. Loving and Bendolph helped the Panthers too a 16th place finish.
