BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's swimming & diving team competed against #1 Emory this past Saturday in the team's first home meet of the season.
In the men's 1 meter dive,
Avery Balch took home first place with a score of 320.70.
Justin Toth earned a second place finish with a 320.25, and
Garrett George and
Sam Tennell finished third and fourth with scores of 292.35 and 264.52 respectively.
In the men's 3 meter 6 dive,
Justin Toth broke the school record with a score of 355.80 and earned a first place finish.
Avery Balch finished second with a score of 348.97, and
Garrett George and
Sam Tennell finished third and fourth again with scores of 312.90 and 273.00 respectively. Toth, Balch, George, and Tennell also made regional qualifiers with these impressive scores.
