WOMEN'S SOCCER DROPS HOME GAME AGAINST EMORY

BIRMINGHAM, AL. – The Birmingham-Southern women's soccer team lost a lopsided 0-8 matchup vs. Emory University.

Birmingham-Southern saw just four shots on the night, against a very good Emory team. Emory came to town holding a 5-3-3 record with ties against two top SAA competitors Centre and Sewanee. Emory scored four goals in the first half outshooting the Panthers 19-0.

In the second half, the Panthers did not give up and would get off four shot attempts before allowing another four goals. The BSC defense was much more difficult to breakdown in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Kylie Hall and Claire Wilkinson both found the back of the net two times in the game.

Grace Elsevier finished with a career high 18 saves.
