ROME, GA. - The Birmingham-Southern men's golf team competed in the Chick-fil-a Collegiate Invite in Rome, Ga. at Stonebridge Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
On day one,
Jake Ledbetter led all Panthers by shooting an 82 (+10).
Jackson Sharp was close behind with an 83 (+11), and
Jake Ovitt and
Anderson McCary finished third and fourth on the team with 85 and 95 respectively.
Tuesday was the second and final round of the tournament, and it was a day of improvement for 'Southern.
Jackson Sharp led his team with a 77 (+5) for his best round of the fall season.
Jake Ledbetter improved by three strokes from day one with a 79 (+7), and
Jake Ovitt also improved with an 84 (+12) which was a stroke lower than round one.
Anderson McCary rounded off the tournament for the Panthers with a 99.

Birmingham-Southern will resume play in the spring where they will look to build towards the SAA Championships at the end of April 2024.
