Game 1 vs Brevard
1st half: Game one started of the classic with a a very competitive game. The prolific scorer Qunicy Carter started off the scoring with a lay in. This game went back and forth almost the entire first half with a couple of three's from Jay Gillispe and
Kaleb Green. Off the bench, Brandon Copeland scored two free throws to start a 10-2 run for the Panthers and leave the score at 31-22. Brevard shot 58% from field-goal range only attempting 26 shots. Both teams were able to score the ball very easily with a combined 76 points in the first half. Birmingham-Southern took a six point lead into halftime.
2nd half: The Panthers defense really took over in the second half only allowing the tornadoes 25 points in the second half. BSC held Brevard to a 26% field goal percentage shooting 8-31 in the second half. The second half scoring drought also hit BSC with the Panthers 0-11 from 3-point range. Brevard finished with only one scorer over double-digits with BSC having four scorers over double-digits. Jay Gillispe finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Brandon Copeland added 11 points off the bench.

Game 2 vs Belhaven
1st half: The final game of the Black-Tie Classic was an absolute thriller. Both teams won there first game on Friday, which made this game all the more exciting. Three lead changes in the first half proved that the game was going to be close. BSC started the game on a 10-2 run before a big comeback by the Blazers. Most of the points in the run came from Judah Jordan and Jordan Marshall. The Blazers ran up to an 8-point lead at 30-22 after a lay in from Damien Wheaton. BSC cut the lead to four points behind scoring from Brandon Copeland and
Kaleb Green.
2nd half/OT: Birmingham-Southern was able to tie the game a few times but wouldn't take the lead until 71-70 with two minutes left in the game. BSC shot 56% from 3-point range which allowed them to get back in this game. The Blazers took a 3-point lead after two freethrows from Luke Couch with 6 seconds remaining.
Kaleb Green drained a 3-point shot heard around the World to send this game into overtime. Overtime was back and forth again until a decisive 17th rebound from Body Davis. Belhaven only made two 3-pointers in the second half and overtime. Five double-digit scorers for the blazers including a double-double off the bench for Jacob Reese. BSC was led by
Kaleb Green with 23 points and a double double from both Jay Gillispe and
Brody Davis. Gillispie had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Davis had 11 points and 17 rebounds. Brandon Copeland had an, outstanding, 25 points off the bench.
Final Score OT: BSC 92, Belhaven 87
