BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - A select few athletes competed in the Bulldog open hosted by Samford University. The Panthers recorded four personal records during the meet.
The Panthers earned three top 15 finishes and four personal records in a meet full of competition. Two of those top 15 finishes came by
Maurice Sutherland, while
Jailah Loving, Gabe Earhart,
Noah Arrington, and
Pyunn Ntwari all recorded personal records.
Birmingham-Southern top finishes
- Jailah Loving recorded a personal record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.82 and placing eighth.
- Noah Arrington earned a PR in the mile with a time of 4:31.04 and placed 24th in the 800-meter run.
- Pyunn Ntwari also recorded a personal record in the mile with a time of 4:53.18.
- Rounding out the PR's was Gabe Earhart who recorded a time of 6:20.34 in the mile run.
- Maurice Sutherland placed eighth in the triple jump and followed that up with a 15th place finish in the long jump.
