JACKSON, Miss. - The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team head into the Southern Athletic Association Tournament winning four of their last six, including an 85-64 win over Millsaps on Wednesday night.
A close game to begin quickly turned after the Panthers went on a 16-5 run to take a 12-point lead with 7:49 in the first half. The Majors tried to claw their way back into the game but were unable to, trailing by double digits as the teams headed in to halftime. In the second half Millsaps cut the lead to two possessions but, the Panthers were not phased and built their lead back up to double figures. BSC walked away with a 21-point victory, winning 85-64.

Josh Childers who scored a career-high against a Division III opponent with 22 points. He came one rebound shy of a double-double, grabbing nine boards and recording four assists.
Nolan Dean recorded a career-high 15 points in the victory on 4-of-7 shooting from beyond the three-point arc. In his second game back
Cam Glover scored 14 points while grabbing four rebounds in the win.
Four Majors scored in double-figures in the loss. Doug Watson led all Millsap scorers with 18 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Aaron Ursin and James Little each recorded 11 points in the loss. Stewart Bonnecaze rounded out the four double-figure scorers with 10 points.
