BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team dropped their second game of the season to Transylvania University 20-13 at General Krulak Stadium today.
How it happened
- Transy got out to a quick 2-0 lead but, BSC responded with three goals of their own to take the lead.
- BSC would add a goal with just over three minutes remaining but, Transy would tally two more goals to tie the game 4-4 after one quarter.
- There would be 14 total goals in the second quarter with both teams scoring seven. The Panthers and Pioneers went to halftime tied 11-11.
- Transylvania would control the second half outscoring BSC 9-2 and winning the game 20-13.
Game notes
- Hannah Leon and Brooklyn Hilliard each recorded four goals in the game.
- Hilliard led the team with six point (four goals, two assists).
- Grace Lee Paden recorded 18 saves in the loss which ties for fifth in a single-game in program history.
