LAGRANGE, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team scored double-digit goals for the fifth consecutive time this season in route to picking up their fourth victory 19-7 over LaGrange College.
How it happened
- LaGrange would take a quick 2-0 lead after scoring two goals within a minute and 30 seconds of the game starting.
- Birmingham-Southern then went on a 4-1 goal run to take a 4-3 lead before the first quarter was over.
- Birmingham-Southern controlled the second quarter outscoring LaGrange 4-1 and taking a commanding 8-4 lead into halftime.
- The Panthers carried that momentum over to the second half. In the third quarter BSC grew their lead by four goals after outscoring LaGrange 6-2 in the period.
- Birmingham-Southern again outscored the Panthers in the fourth quarter and won the game by 12 goals with a score of 19-7.
