ATLANTA, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern baseball team defeated Emory for the second day in a row and collected their fourth win of the week to sweep their competition on the week. The Panthers extend their win streak to 15.
A difference of 14 runs from the day before, the Panthers scored two runs late to take and keep the lead picking up back-to-back victories against the Eagles.
Josh Leerssen started on the bump for the Panthers and threw 5.2 innings, allowing four hits while striking out six hitters.
Connor Adams came on in relief and pitched the final 3.1 innings sriking out five, allowing just four hits and one unearned run.
Cam McNearney had another spectacular day at the plate hitting his fifth home run in as many games in a 2-for-5 performance.

Jackson Webster each recorded two hits in the Panther victory.
