Margaret Axelson started in the circle for the Panthers to record the shutout win. The game was an even matchup until Birmingham-Southern got on the board in the bottom of the sixth. The Panthers earned six runs on four hits with one error from the Warriors. An RBI single for Jada Askew scored Emma Jolley to put up the first run for BSC. Izzy Berkopec and Margaret Axelson both scored a run on singles, bringing the lead to 3-0. Jordyn Green reached on a fielders choice, but an error from the Warrior allowed extra bases and scored two for BSC. A sacrifice fly from Cassidy Dickson scored Hailee Bryan to finish off the six run inning. Birmingham-Southern came out strong again in the seventh with a sacrifice fly from Berkopec and a 2 RBI single for Bryan to make it 10-0 for the Panthers. Axelson struck out six, allowing no runs on seven hits while facing 25 batters.
