BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Birmingham-Southern softball swept the series against Millsaps in walk-off fashion Sunday afternoon. A big fifth inning push allowed the Panthers to end it early and extend their conference record to 12-0. 

Millsaps was the first on the board with their one and only run scoring on a fielding error from the Panthers. In equal manner, an error from Millsaps put Birmingham-Southern on the board in the bottom of the first. Alyssa Fowler dropped a single to left center to drive in Izzy Berkopec making it 2-1. The next two innings were scoreless for both teams before the Panthers put up two more in the bottom of the fourth. An RBI single from Hailee Bryan scored Emma Jolley and Katie Hart ripped a double down the right field line to score Olivia Trout. A big fifth inning ended things early, with BSC putting up five runs on four hits. Katie Hart ended the game with a walk-off single that drove in Hailee Bryan to finish it 9-1 over the Majors. 

Axelson earned the win for the Panthers after taking the circle in the third inning. Her four strikeouts in the game pushed her past the 100 mark, ending the game with 102 strikeouts on the season.
