BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team won their fourth consecutive SAA contest in their final regular season home game of the year on Saturday.
How it happened
- BSC got things going early with a goal from Kyle Winter after only a minute of play. They then added on two more before Hendrix scored their first.
- The Panthers then continued their high-powered offense with five straight goals until a goal from the Warriors with 1:50 left in the first quarter ended the run.
- The second period was even better for the Panthers. They dominated with seven straight goals and a clean sheet to take a 15-2 lead into halftime.
- BSC picked up where they left off to start the second half with a quick goal from Raymond Fracchia.
- The Panthers added on three more goals and continued their strong defending to win the period 4-0.
- BSC closed out the final quarter comfortably by winning the fourth 4-2 and ultimately taking the win 23-4 on Senior Day.
