Montgomery, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern football team dropped a 16-0 decision at Huntingdon.
Quarterback
Matt McClary combined for over 100 total yards in the loss to Huntingdon. Running back
Kendall Johnson ran the ball 12 times for 31 yards.
Defensively the Panthers were led by
Ricky Spence Jr. who had 11 total tackles.
The Hawks held the ball for 41 minutes as they collected 162 rushing yards.
The first score came in the 2nd quarter by Huntingdon with a Kahari McReynol strike to Tyler England for 21 yards.
The next score came on a safety, after a high snap from Birmingham-Southern that ended with
Cole Porch recovering in the endzone.
The final scoring happened in the 4th quarter with a 1 yard rush from Troy Garner.
Birmingham-Southern has not been shutout in a game since the team began playing again in 2007.
