Toth 2024 Diver of the Year

BOTH TEAMS FINISH 3RD AS TOTH NAMED DIVER OF THE YEAR AT SAA CHAMPIONSHIP

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Sophomore Justin Toth was named SAA Men's Diver of the Year for the second consecutive year at the conclusion of the SAA Swimming and Diving Championship on Saturday night. The men's and women's swimming and diving teams finished third in the conference in the overall standings. 

Toth earned the honor after finishing first in the Men's 1 Meter Dive and second in the Men's 3 Meter Dive. Both dives were NCAA BCUT scores in yet another impressive display at the SAA Championship. Senior Adam Jones also had an excellent final individual swim with a silver medal in the Men's 1650 Free with a time of 16:17.52.

Amelia Cooper had the top finish for the women's side on the final night. Her time of 2:11.57 was good enough for second place in the Women's 200 Butterfly.

The men's team earned third place in the SAA with 614.5 points while the women's team also wrapped up third with 518 points to end 2024 as a team. Click here to see the final SAA Championship standings.
