BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior
Adam Jones and junior
Avery Balch finished first in the Men's 400 IM and Men's 3 Meter Dive respectively to headline placements for the Birmingham-Southern men's and women's swimming & diving teams on day three of the SAA Championship.
Jones was one of two individual champions for the Panthers on Friday night with a time of 4:05.64 in the Men's 400 IM. Teammate
Graham Simmon finished just behind in second place with a time of 4:07.33 to give BSC a great start in the day three finals.
Avery Balch defended his 3 Men's Meter Dive title with an NCAA BCUT score of 525.85.
Justin Toth,
Garrett George, and
Sam Tennell also earned BCUT scores and finished second,third, and fifth respectively.
The men's team finished the night in third on 415.5 points, and the women's team finished the night in third on 383 points.
