Birmingham-Southern finished second in the SAA Regular Season, granting them post season hosting responsibilities. For Game 1 of the Birmingham pod, the Panthers faced the Hendrix Warriors.

Natalie Snow delivered a clutch RBI single to right field to give BSC a 2 run lead.
Olivia Trout earned a bases loaded walk to pick up her first RBI of the day.
Jaley Davis picked up BSC's third hit of the inning with a single through the right side, scoring two. BSC secured a comfortable 5-0 lead within the first inning.
Hendrix responded in the following half inning, scoring two runs off of three hits to make the game 5-2.
The scoreboard was quiet for both teams until the bottom of the 6th inning when BSC broke open the game.
Emma Jolley reached base safely for the third time of the match up with a lead off single. Moe McGuire walked and Bella Furgason executed a SAC bunt to put both runners in scoring position.
Maile White smoked a line shot double to the left field wall, scoring two more runs for the Panthers.
Leah Wood added to the RBI efforts with a single down the third base line, making the score 8-3.
The Warriors were unable to string together the comeback effort in the 7th inning, giving BSC the Game 1 victory with a final score of 8-3.
Olivia Trout, BSC's starter in the circle earned the win while tallying an impressive 8 strikeouts.
