Pre-BSC:  Lettered at Our Lady of Mercy High School, where she played outside and right side hitter... 2011 All-State... All-Area (2008, 2010 & 2011)... 2009 All-Tournament Team... 2011 Senior All-Star... named National Player of the Week by MaxPreps.com in 2011... Student Council President (2009-11)... Drama Club Vice President (2010-11)... starred in the spring musicals all four years of her career... Student-Led Retreat Director (2011)...played club volleyball for Tempo1 Volleyball Club.

Personal:  Born on Sept. 1, 1993... daughter of Bill and Holly Schmitz... has a younger sister, Mary Katherine, and two younger brothers, Colin and Brennan... her grandfather played football at Miami University of Ohio.
