2022: Southern Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll selection... appeared in 12 games for the Panthers... pitched 15.2 innings striking out 19 batters and recording a 5.17 ERA... member of team that won both the regular season and tournament championships... won the Lynchburg Regional and advanced to the super-regionals.

2020: Appeared in six games on the mound for the Panthers, making one start… pitched 14.2 innings… struck out 14 batters and walked five… allowed six runs, five earned, on 17 hits… earned one win… recorded one save… finished with 3.07 ERA… Southern Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll… Dean’s List. 
 
PERSONAL: Born July 5… son of Brad and Amanda McCown… has one younger sister, Marron… plans to study business marketing with minor studies in psychology… volunteered with Big Brother Big Sister.
