ATLANTA—The Birmingham-Southern volleyball team dropped its two matches today at the Doc Partin Classic in Atlanta.

The Panthers lost to No. 5 Eastern University and No. 4 Emory, the host of the Classic, both by the score of 3-0.

"After this weekend I believe we now know more about ourselves and the changes we need to make," Head Coach Judy Green said. "I feel like we will benefit long term from playing the caliber of competition we did. We are all looking forward to getting back in the gym so we can improve."

BSC is back in action this Tuesday, traveling to Livingston, Ala., to take on West Alabama at 7 p.m.
