Box Score ATLANTA, Ga.—The Birmingham-Southern women's soccer team lost on the road, 1-0, to Emory University Friday evening in Atlanta, Ga.
The Panthers fell to 4-3, while the Eagles moved to 5-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emory's Jordan Morell scored the lone goal of the game, launching a shot over leaping BSC goalkeeper Katie Williams from inside the 18 in the 74th minute.
NOTABLE
- The Emory offense controlled the ball for much of the game, out-shooting BSC 29-1 overall and 13-1 on-goal.
- Junior Ansley Tomlin started in goal for BSC and recorded eight saves; Williams came in for the second half and made four saves.
