LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga.—The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team defeated Covenant College on the road Saturday afternoon, 9-0.

It was the Panthers' second straight shutout to move to 2-0 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• BSC won at all three doubles spots to go up 3-0 in the match.
• Five of the Panthers' six singles matches were won in two sets.
