Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team scored triple digits for the first time in two years, but could not fend off Rhodes College Friday night, falling 142-100 in Southern Athletic Association play on the road.
Five Panthers finished in double-figures led by Matty Rudak (Augustów, Poland/Millbrook School) who shot 12-for-17 from the floor. He finished with a game and career-high 28 points.
James McLean (Maitland, Fla./Winter Park HS) earned 14 points of his own. And Evan Lewis (Birmingham, Ala./Ramsay HS), Ian Thom (Cold Spring, N.Y./Croton-Harmon HS), and Chris Graham (Dothan, Ala./Dothan HS) picked up 10 points each, respectively.
The Panthers head to Hendrix next on Sunday, Jan. 8. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. following the women's game.
