BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team fell 5-4 at home in their Southern Athletic Association opener against Millsaps College Friday afternoon.  BSC (3-5, 0-1 SAA) won two of the three doubles matches to take an early lead.

McKenzie Courtney (Mobile, Ala./UMS-Wright Prep) earned two wins on the day. She and partner Isabella Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS) dominated at #2 doubles to earn the 8-2 win.  Courtney went on to win #3 singles 6-2, 6-1.

The Panthers hit the road next to take on Hendrix College Saturday, April 1.  Match time is set for 10 a.m.
