ATLANTA, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team dropped its last regular season Southern Athletic Association match 6-3 at Oglethorpe University Saturday.  The Stormy Petrels swept doubles play to help earn the win.

No. 42 Carlee Petro (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) closed the regular season undefeated in conference play at #1 singles with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 win over Caroline Johnson.  The victory extended her win streak to nine.

The Panthers now prepare for the SAA tournament.  They will be the No. 5 seed. The first match is set for Friday, April 21.
