NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team took two doubles and three singles matches to top Millsaps College 5-2 in the quarterfinals of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament Friday. 

Mary Evelyn Carroll (Madison, Miss./Madison Central HS) went 2-0 in the win.  She and partner Isabella Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS) won #2 doubles 8-1 before she went on to win #4 singles 6-2, 6-0.

BSC (7-9) will face regular season champion Sewanee in the semifinals Saturday at noon.  Fans can follow the results online at tournament central.
