NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team fell 5-0 Saturday in the semifinals of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament to top seeded Sewanee.  BSC finished the season a 7-10 overall. 

Carlee Petro (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) and Emily Whitlock (Panama City, Fla./A.C. Mosley HS) competed tough at the #1 doubles position, but the pair would eventually fall 8-4.

This was the Panthers fifth consecutive trip to the SAA semifinals.  They earned the fifth seed after going 3-4 in conference play.
