BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team dropped its Southern Athletic Association match Saturday to Sewanee 8-1. The Panthers moved to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
No. 42 Carlee Petro (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) earned the Panthers lone win. She defeated her #1 singles opponent 6-4, 6-3.
The Panthers remain at home on Sunday, April 9 to take on Centre College in their final home match of the season. Match time is set for 9 a.m.
