BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The No. 3 Birmingham-Southern baseball team completed the sweep of Berry College Sunday afternoon, with a 4-3 win on Striplin Field.  The win moved the Panthers (27-5, 14-1 SAA) one step closer to clinching the regular season title.

Will Toner (Atlanta, Ga./Marist HS) went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Panthers offensively.  David Scott (Atlanta, Ga./Woodward Academy) stole a game-high three bases, giving him 30 for the season.

Jake Cook (Oxford, Ala./Oxford HS) earned the win after tossing three scoreless innings and giving up just one hit. And Rich Misischia (Dothan, Ala./Regis HS) picked up his first save of the season by closing out the win.

The Panthers are back on the road and heading to Millsaps
