Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team started strong on the road against Centre College Friday night in Southern Athletic Association play, allowing just four points in the first set. BSC (15-5, 8-2 SAA) went on to sweep the Colonels 3-0 in straight sets.
The win was a team effort as the Panthers topped Centre in every category. Milea Ray (Alabaster, Ala./Pensacola State) led all attackers with a match-high 12 kills. Ansleigh Dailey (Daphne, Ala./Bayside Academy) finished with a match-high 17 assists, tying Centre's team total. And Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) picked up a match-high 10 digs.
BSC continues conference play on the road tomorrow at Sewanee. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
