Box Score 2 ATLANTA, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team finished the Emory National Invitational undefeated after topping Randolph Macon and host No. 8 Emory Saturday. BSC (23-5) outhit, out-aced, and out-dug both teams to close out the regular season on an 18-match win streak, going 3-0 against top 20 teams in the final two weeks.
Jeneva Salter (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS) led all attackers with 32 kills and Ansleigh Dailey (Daphne, Ala./Bayside Academy) finished with 90 assists, averaging 11.25 per set. Rebecca Erwin (Duluth, Ga./Duluth HS) earned 23 kills and team-best 10 blocks on the day. Defensively, Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) led the back line with 37 digs.
The Panthers now prepare for the Southern Athletic Association tournament. As the No. 2 seed, BSC will take on Oglethorpe Friday, Nov. 2 in the quarterfinals. Winner advances to the semifinals against either third seeded Hendrix or six seed Millsaps on Saturday, Nov. 3.
