LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team picked up its second win of the season Friday with an 8-1 rout of Covenant College on the road.  BSC (2-0) swept doubles play.  Their lone singles loss came in a tight tiebreak.

Carlee Petro (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) and Alyssa Yager (Gardendale, Ala./Gardendale HS) took No. 1 doubles 8-1.  And Ashton Henderson (Birmingham, Ala./Laurel Springs HS) dominated at No. 6 singles, sweeping her opponent 6-0, 6-0.

The Panthers return home on Friday, Feb. 16 to face University of Alabama in Huntsville.  Match time is set for 2 p.m. in the Dielen Tennis Complex.
