JACKSON, Miss. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team swept Belhaven University Friday afternoon.  BSC improved to 7-2 overall with the 9-0 win.

Carlee Petro (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) and Alyssa Yager (Gardendale, Ala./Gardendale HS) finished the day without giving up a single game.  The pair took No. 1 doubles 8-0 before both going on to win 6-0, 6-0 in singles play.

BSC continues play on the road in Jackson.  They take on Texas-Tyler at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
