Box Score LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team successfully fended off a late rally by Covenant College Wednesday. The Panthers (9-5) won 3-2.
Four hitters finished with double-digit kills led by Jeneva Salter (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS) who earned 18. Reilly Vought (Spanish Fort, Ala./Spanish Fort HS) and Ansleigh Dailey (Daphne, Ala./Bayside Academy) both spent time running the offense.
Vought finished with a match-high 39 assists. And Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) led the backline with a match-high 29 digs.
BSC finally returns back home for a pair of conference matches. The Panthers take on Centre College this Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sewanee on Sunday. Both matches begin at noon.
