Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team dominated Centre College Saturday in a Southern Athletic Association showdown. BSC (10-5, 4-2 SAA) swept the Colonels in straight sets, 3-0, after out-performing Centre in kills, aces, digs, blocks, and sideout percentage.
Milea Ray (Alabaster, Ala./Pensacola State) had a commanding defensive performance, earning a match and career-high 32 digs. Reilly Vought (Spanish Fort, Ala./Spanish Fort HS) finished with a double-double of 35 assists and 10 digs.
Offensively, Jeneva Salter (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS) and Rebecca Erwin (Duluth, Ga./Duluth HS) led the team in kills. Salter netted a match-high 12 kills. Erwin finished with 10, respectively.
The Panthers continue their home stand tomorrow against Sewanee. Match time is set for noon.
