Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team fended off a scrappy Sewanee to win 3-0 at home in Bill Battle Coliseum Sunday. BSC is now 11-5 overall and 5-2 against Southern Athletic Association opponents.
Jeneva Salter (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS) and Marjorie Ward (Winter Park, Fla./Winter Park HS) led the offense with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. And Reilly Vought (Spanish Fort, Ala./Spanish Fort HS) finished with 32 assists.
Defensively, Rebecca Erwin (Duluth, Ga./Duluth HS) earned a match-high seven blocks. On the back line, Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) picked up a match-high 24 digs.
BSC concludes its home stand against Maryville on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. It will be the Panthers last non-conference home match.
