Box Score ATLANTA – Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball pushed No. 1 Emory University for four sets before falling 3-1 on the road Thursday evening. BSC moved to 12-5 overall and 2-1 against ranked opponents this season with the loss.
Rebecca Erwin (Duluth, Ga./Duluth HS) led with a team-high 13.5 points after earning a match-high eight blocks. Milea Ray (Alabaster, Ala./Pensacola State) led the offense with eight kills. Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) paced the backline with a team-high 17 digs. And Ray finished right behind her with 15 digs, respectively.
The Panthers return to the Hilltop this Saturday to take on No. 6 Berry College. The match time is set for 1 p.m.
