Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern volleyball team fended off the University of the South Sunday en route to a 3-1 win that ends an undefeated weekend for the Panthers. BSC (12-4) moved to 6-1 against Southern Athletic Association teams with the win.
Milea Ray (Alabaster, Ala./Pensacola State) earned her sixth double-double of the year. She finished with 10 kills and 14 digs. Coats tied Ray with a team-high 10 kills. Dailey and Vought combined for 41 assists.
Defensively, Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) led with a match-high 22 digs.
The Panthers remain on the road for big matchup against No. 1 Emory University. They travel to Atlanta on Thursday, Oct. 10. Match time is set for 5 p.m.
