In the first overtime, 'Southern once again established a multi-bucket lead, but the Hawks refused to go away. With less than a minute left in the opening OT period, BSC had an 82-76 lead. However, a couple of turnovers and missed free throws allowed the Hawks right back in it, as they took an 84-82 lead with only four seconds left. Two clutch free throws by junior forward Christian Stewart (Irondale, Ala./Shades Valley HS) tied the game at 84 all and kept the Panthers in the hunt as the two teams entered another overtime period.

In the second overtime period, the two sides traded the lead a couple of times before Huntingdon took an 89-88 lead after two made free throws. A turnover on the other end by BSC and a quick foul eventually ended it as the Panthers fell behind 91-88 with seven seconds left and could not find an equalizing basket.

Stewart led the Panthers with a game-high 25 points in the loss. Three other Panthers ended the game in double-digits while junior forward Ben Spence (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) finished with a game-high nine assists.
