Box Score MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball lost on the road at Berry College on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Vikings 72-59.
After battling with the home side for much of the first half, Berry went on a run and the end of the first to take a 34-22 lead over Birmingham-Southern at halftime. The Panthers played better offensively in the second half but were unable to completely pull themselves out of the hole.
Sophomore Conor O'Sullivan (Tower Cork, Ireland/Cork Institute of Technology) came off the bench to lead the Panthers with 14 points.
With the loss, BSC falls to 10-11 overall and 4-7 in the Southern Athletic Association.
Birmingham-Southern returns to the Hilltop for their next game against Rhodes on Friday, Feb. 8. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
