BIRMINGHAM, ,Ala. – Birmingham-Southern women's tennis never relinquished a single game to MUW en route to the Panthers 9-0 win at home on the Ann Dielen Tennis Complex.
Isabella Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS), Alyssa Yager (Gardendale, Ala./Gardendale HS), and Emily Enoch (Nashville, Tenn./Christ Presbyterian Academy) each picked up two wins on the day. At No. 1 doubles, Wisener and Yager won handily 8-0 before Wisener took her No. 1 singles match 8-0 and Yager did the same in the No. 2 spot.
After her 8-0 No. 2 doubles win with partner McKenzie Courtney (Mobile, Ala./UMS Wright), Enoch went on to win No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0. Henderson also picked up a singles win at the No. 4 position.
BSC will face Martin Methodist next on Friday, March 22. The time is set for 11 a.m.
